Craig Silver Deposit
100% optioned high-grade silver-lead-zinc deposit in Yukon’s prolific Rackla Belt. Historical resource of 874,980 tonnes grading 123.4 g/t silver, 8.5% lead and 13.5% zinc—among the highest-grade polymetallic silver deposits in a Tier-1 jurisdiction.
High-Grade Silver in the Rackla Belt
Newly Optioned High-Grade Silver Project
Hertz Energy has entered into an option agreement to acquire 100% of the Craig silver-lead-zinc deposit, with the larger Crag and Rod Project areas, in east-central Yukon, from Strategic Metals Ltd. High-quality, economically mineable silver deposits are relatively rare and valuable, making projects like the Craig Deposit especially important in the metals market.

Consolidated position in the prolific Craig Belt within the 175 km Rackla Belt
Combination of High-Grade Zones and Scale
- The Crag and Rod projects are situated in the Craig Belt, a subset of the 175 km long Rackla Belt, known for its high-grade silver-lead-zinc and gold deposits
- The Craig Deposit is a drill-defined silver-lead-zinc exploration asset in east-central Yukon, centred on the Craig Belt where multiple high-grade occurrences remain open for expansion along strike and at depth
- Property’s 14 km mineralized corridor includes several other significant zones: Azure, Discovery, Nadaleen, Trent, Scott
- Under-explored MVT and vein-hosted base metal mineralization and Carlin-type pathfinder signatures suggest further discovery potential
- Consolidated Crag, Rod and Craig Projects creates a substantial Hertz footprint in a region known for rich silver-lead-zinc and gold mineralization
Historical Inferred Mineral Resource
Resources estimated by Falconbridge Limited in the mid-1990s before NI 43-101 implementation, therefore considered historical in nature.*
| Metal | Grade | Tonnes |
|---|---|---|
| Silver (Ag) | 123.4 g/t | 874,980 t |
| Lead (Pb) | 8.5% | |
| Zinc (Zn) | 13.5% |
* The historical mineral resource (historical estimate) for the Craig deposit was estimated in 2002 and published in Manson Creek Resources 2001 Annual Report and Canadian Mines Handbook 2001-02, p. 233. The historical estimate is not compliant with current CIM and NI 43-101 standards, is not considered reliable, and is historical in nature. The key assumptions, parameters, and methods used to prepare the historical estimate are not known at this time. A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources and Hertz Energy is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources. A qualified person would need to verify the drilling and analytical data underlying the historical estimate, complete check sampling of drill core, and complete additional drilling on the project to upgrade or verify the historical estimate as current mineral resources. This work has not commenced.

Other Zones – Exploration Upside
Discovery Zone
- 6.1 m @ 27 g/t Ag, 1.5% Pb, 22.2% Zn—high zinc content
- Other shorter intervals also show Ag-Pb-Zn mineralization
Trent Zone
- 4.26 m @ 48 g/t Ag, 4.30% Pb, 24.1% Zn—notable base metals with silver
- 6.7 m @ 12 g/t Ag, 1.6% Pb, 20.3% Zn—zinc-rich mineralization
Nadaleen Zone
- 1.5 m @ 3.4 g/t Ag, 0.75% Pb, 5.25% Zn—lower grades but still anomalous
Multiple zones remain open for expansion and additional targets are untested across the 14 km mineralized corridor.

Significant Discovery Opportunity
Exploration Potential
- ~31,200 ha of highly prospective ground with multiple known mineralized zones (Craig, Discovery, Trent, Azure, Nadaleen, Scott)
- Historical drilling suggests significant high-grade zones remain open for expansion along strike and at depth
- Drill results showing up to 203 g/t silver and massive base metals—Craig’s rich polymetallic zones offer significant potential
- Carlin-type pathfinder signatures suggest additional gold discovery potential
- Under-explored MVT and vein-hosted base metal mineralization across the property
Strategic Positioning
- Consolidated position in the Craig Belt creates substantial Hertz footprint in the Rackla Belt
- Region known for rich silver-lead-zinc and gold mineralization
- Tier-1 Canadian jurisdiction with established mining regulations
- Large, consolidated land position in a prolific mineral belt
- Multiple targets still open and untested offering leveraged upside if further drilling expands known mineralization

Opportunity to Expand
Historical drilling suggests significant high-grade zones remain open for expansion along strike and at depth, signaling exciting exploration upside. With drill results showing up to 203 g/t silver and massive base metals, Craig’s rich polymetallic zones offer significant potential to expand high-value silver and base metal resources.
Why Silver Matters
High-Grade Rarity
High-grade silver deposits are less common. Many have lower grades making mining expensive. Deposits in politically stable, mining-friendly areas like Yukon add extra value due to lower risks.
Rising Demand
Silver is increasingly critical for industrial uses—electronics, solar panels, EVs. Zinc and lead also support infrastructure and manufacturing as clean energy demand grows.
Supply Concerns
Global silver supply faces challenges: mine closures, geopolitical risks, supply chain disruptions. Scarcity drives prices and increases interest in under-explored projects.
Rackla Belt Potential
The Rackla Belt has a history of rich mineralization and exploration success. New discoveries or expansions are highly accretive with strong metal prices.
